The Planning & Zoning Committee reviews proposed amendments to zoning ordinances, site plans and plat applications, and also makes recommendations to the Council regarding the current and future development of the City of Finlayson.

I need to build a new or modify an existing structure, what do I do?

That's exciting! Within city limits, you are required to obtain a building permit. The first step is to complete the application and submit it to City Hall with any supporting documentation. The Planning & Zoning Committee will enlist the Zoning Administrator to approve the permit, which will then be brought to City Council for approval at their regular meeting.
